The launch of Wren and Bear Books, a specialty children’s book imprint by Michelle Medlock Adams in partnership with End Game Press, is the culmination of years of experience and expertise in the book business. Michelle brings her unique style and special touch in putting together a list of books that will encourage a child’s faith, will provide fun within its pages and will cause a child to look at a familiar subject with new eyes - wonder and awe.
In 2021, after End Game Press launched, Michelle shared with Victoria a dream of having her own imprint of children’s books. After an incredibly successful career in this competitive industry, Michelle longed to put her creative vision into her own list of titles.
and Wren and Bear Books was born.
“He is not here. He is alive!” the angels tell the women.
All creation wakes from its slumber and bursts forth in celebration at Jesus’s resurrection, even the sloth who’s a little behind the beat.
The Dance of Easter sparks a spirited response of creation to Jesus’s resurrection through lyrical verse and expressive illustrations. This fresh retelling of the Easter story will introduce four- to seven-year-olds to what happened on the first Easter morning, show that Jesus rose from the dead, and celebrate the good news of His resurrection.

“You are the laughter in my soul.
The joy I never knew.
You are my great adventure, son.
You are my dream come true.”
You Are My Dream Come True is a sweet bedtime book for parents to read to their children. There’s a special bond between a Daddy and his child. You often see “Mommy” bedtime books, but very few where the father is front and center. That’s why this book, written by best-selling author Michelle Medlock Adams and single father Cecil Stokes, is timely and needed.
Cecil adopted his son Boone from foster care in 2015, and his life has never been the same. Together, we believe we have created a precious picture book based on real experiences and conversations from Boone and Cecil’s life. It will appeal to all families where daddy is very much involved in day-to-day activities and loving every minute of it.

What is a family made of?
It can be hard to describe sometimes … but every family has the same thing: love!
Whether someone has step siblings or has lived in foster care or no matter what the size of their family—love connects everyone.
It’s moms and dads and pets and friends,
and aunts and uncles, too.
It’s grandparents and godparents—
The ones who treasure you.
In eloquently written rhyme, Michelle Medlock Adams helps readers to see family in a new light. That family isn’t determined by DNA or location—but by the precious love given and received.
After all, we’re all part of a beautiful family of a very loving God.
